Bureau Veritas recently announced its successful acquisition of IK4-TEKNIKER’s industrial oil analysis laboratory – Lubrication Management SL. The laboratory, near Bilbao, Spain, will form the European hub for Bureau Veritas’ global oil analysis network.
Global OCM Director Sam Fisher said the acquisition is a key part of Bureau Veritas’ global strategy to expand its Oil Analysis group.
“The fit is highly complementary both in geographic footprint and in service scope,” Fisher said. “The 2014 acquisition of Analysts, Inc., and the subsequent global expansion to 14 locations worldwide is now balanced with a strong European presence.
“Lubrication Management’s expertise in the industrial space is recognized around the world,” Fisher added. “And we are excited about leveraging that industrial skill set across the group and being able to offer our clients the grease and transformer oil analysis services Lubrication Management has already developed.”
The acquisition underscores Bureau Veritas’ commitment to providing a global service offering with a platform truly unique to the oil analysis industry – one that delivers a consistent, best-in-class experience anywhere in the world.
“The Lubrication Management acquisition is evidence that Bureau Veritas remains committed to continued development of a system designed to simplify the management of large and complex fluid analysis programs,” Fisher said.
